Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject.

• Soldier (Clerk): 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate and 50% marks in each subject, including English and Maths/Accounts.

• Tradesmen (All Trades except House Keeper / Mess Keeper): Class 10th pass. Minimum 33% in each subject.

• Tradesmen (House Keeper / Mess Keeper): Class 8th pass. Minimum 33% in each subject.

📅 Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 42 years (as on date of recruitment)

Salary & Allowances

Serving in the Territorial Army offers a solid pay scale governed by the 7th Pay Commission.

• Pay Level: 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100 approx)

• Military Service Pay (MSP) + DA + HRA + TA as applicable.

• Pension and other benefits under National Pension System (NPS).

Selection Process

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – 1 Mile Run, Pull-ups, Balance & 9 Feet Ditch

• Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Height, Weight, Chest

• Medical Examination – Full body medical as per Army standards

• Written Exam (CEE) – Objective paper including:

  • General Knowledge

  • General Science

  • Elementary Mathematics

  • (For Clerks: add English & Computer Aptitude)

Physical Standards (Expected)

• Height: As per region/category

• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm

• Running: 1 Mile within specified time

• Pull-Ups: As per marks scale (6–10 = pass range)

3. Domicile Certificate (with photo)

4. Caste Certificate (if applicable)

5. Character Certificate (issued within 6 months)

6. PAN Card / Aadhar Card

7. Married / Unmarried Certificate (recent)

8. Relationship Certificate (for servicemen/ex-servicemen sons)

9. Sports Certificates (if any)

10. 20 Recent Passport Size Photos (unattested, colour)
