BPSSC Police SI Recruitment 2026:
The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) posts under the Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar. BPSSC Sub-Inspector Vacancy Details 2026
Under this recruitment drive, 78 Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) posts will be filled. Category-wise vacancy details will be available in the detailed notification.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following academic requirement:

A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university

Degrees declared equivalent to graduation by the Bihar State Government on or before 1 August 2025 will also be accepted
Age Limit & Relaxation
The age limit will be calculated as per the cut-off date mentioned in the official notification.
Age Relaxation:

Bihar Government Employees with a minimum of 3 years of regular service:
→ Up to 5 years relaxation in upper age limit -
Ex-Servicemen:
→ Relaxation equal to years of defence service + 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 57 years
Category-wise relaxation will be applicable as per Bihar Government rules.
